On December 26 of this year the 1st -4th year students of the Department of Russian-Turkish Simultaneous Interpretation provided aid to 60 families in need in Bishkek. The campaign had been organized on the initiative of the department member, Ms. Leyla Babaturk.

More than 62,000 soms has been raised through the charity campaign. This money has been collected at the food fair organized by students at the beginning of December. Food products, sweets, and gifts were purchased for the elderly, single mothers, large families with the money collected.  The initiators distributed the gifts to every family.

According to the organizers, the campaign to provide aid to a center for the elderly, children’s house, and families in need is to be carried out every year.

We remind that the students of the aforementioned department have also provided aid to a children’s house.
