On May 8 a farewell evening of the project “Let’s Speak Turkish” took place. The event was attended by the Rector, Vice-Rectors, and students of the university.

In the framework of the project “Let’s Speak Turkish” the preparatory course students learning the Turkish language performed plays entitled “Kuda Tushuu” (matchmaking) and “On the Exam”. “I am glad to see students voluntarily coming to study even on Saturdays. This demonstrates the success of the project. I would like to express gratitude to all the supervisors and teachers of the project ‘Let’s Speak Turkish’,” the Rector, Prof. Dr. Sebahattin Balci, said.

Moreover, the event continued with a short concert program which was marked by poem recitals and performance of music pieces.
We note that the project “Let’s Speak Turkish” is being carried out under the leadership of a student of the Faculty of Tourism, Salim Akbaş.
