Kyrgyz – Turkish Manas University held a celebration ceremony “Nooruz 2017”. The event started with the large concert program in a conference hall K.Tynystanov.

The concert brought together the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkey to Kyrgyzstan Metin Kilic; the Rector, Prof. Dr. Sebahattin Balci, Vice-Rector, Prof. Dr. Asylbek Kulmyrzaev, all the teachers, invited guests and students. During the concert Baba Dyikan and Umai Ene played a theatrical play sprinkling seeds and giving “batas”.

Students from 14 countries studying at university congratulated with Nooruz in their own country’s language. Ambassador Metin Kilic in his speech said, “Celebration of Nooruz is the declaration of the national values”. And the Rector of our university, Prof. Dr. Sebahattin Balci in his opening speech said, “Nooruz is the beginning of goodness and regeneration.
