On October 21 the first lesson of Let’s Speak Turkish, a project aimed at the preparatory course students, was held.

The first lesson was attended by more than 500 students, who received an overview of the lesson plan. The lessons were conducted by the senior students with a great command of the language, and are held every Saturday starting at 10:00, two hours each. Those who complete the course successfully will have the opportunity to receive certificates at the end of the year.

The head of the project, Mr. Salim Akbas, said: “Our aim is to assist the preparatory course students in learning the Turkish language and applying this knowledge in practice. As well as to enhance interethnic harmony and strengthen friendly relations”.

It should be noted that the project, Let’s Speak Turkish, was created in 2014.
