On November 9 the University Rector, Prof. Dr. Sebahattin Balci, and Vice-Rector, Prof. Dr. Anvarbek Mokeyev, met with the newly elected members of the Student Council in the 2017-2018 academic year, and reviewed plans to be carried out throughout the year. In addition, the members of the Management and Control Council received their certificates.

During the meeting the University Rector, Prof. Dr. Sebahattin Balci, expressed his support for the project proposed by the Student Council, and recommended to develop the activities of the clubs under the Student Council. Moreover, he expressed his confidence that the new proposed project and activities will be a success. Prof. Dr. Anvarbek Mokeyev proposed that the Council work on new projects that are diverse. At the same time, he encouraged them to attach equal importance to education and social activities.

The Chairwoman of the Student Council, Alina Tilekteshova, and Deputy Chair, Salim Akbash, described the plans for new projects, activities, and new clubs for this year. At the end the Rector and Vice-Rector gave the members of the Student Council their certificates.
