On December 27 of this year young filmmakers of Uzbekistan visited our university.

At first the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Young Filmmakers from Uzbekistan, Mr. Abdushukur Oibek, the Head of Uzbekkino Agency, Mr. Bahdir Muhammedov, cameramen, and film actors had an excursion around the campus of the university. Afterwards in the cinema room of the Faculty of Communication Uzbek and Kyrgyz films that won awards at international festival were shown. The event was attended by the University Vice-Rector, Prof. Dr. Anvarbek Mokeyev, the Dean of the Faculty of Communication, Prof. Dr. Hamza Cakir.

“We are about to achieve our goal of working with you. I am confident that our ties will become even stronger in subsequent years,” the Vice-Rector, Prof. Dr. Anvarbek Mokeyev, said.

After the films were shown students received answers to their questions, and conversation with the guests took place.
