On February 24-25 of this year a tournament entitled “Winners Generation” was held by the Manas Debating Club. Among the participants were 53 teams from seven universities in Bishkek.

On the first day of the tournament qualification round took place, and 16 teams were selected for the next round. On the second day after the final and semi-final rounds had been held, the winners were determined.

A team from KTMU “Nu, pogodi” gained a victory, whereas “Tarris” was ranked second. The Best Judge title was won by Jainagul  Zamirbek kyzy, whereas Aida Kamilova was named Best Speaker.

One of the winners Adina Kaparbekova said: “Through such tournaments I have learned to think critically, view everything from different angles, and analyze.”

The winners were presented with a cup, certificates for learning English, and money prizes. At the end of the tournament the debaters of the new generation expressed their gratitude to trainers through a video.
