World AIDS Day

On December 3-4, 2018, a series of lectures devoted to World AIDS Day, organized by the KTUM Health Center took place. Lectures were conducted by the neurologist of the Health Center Altynkul Osmonbekova.

During the event, students were given detailed information about AIDS and HIV infection. Altynkul Osmonbekova said: “To date, 66.4 percent of HIV-infected people aged 20-39 years. Therefore, such preventive work is carried out mainly for students”, noting that doctors from different countries of the world are making great efforts to prevent the disease.

Recall that the UN declared December 1 the World AIDS Day. And since 1996, UNAIDS has been running.
