On December 14, 2018, the Sambo competition was held in the indoor sports hall of our university. The competition was organized by the Student Council and the School of Physical Education and Sports.

On the 13th of December, the weight of all the contestants were weighed and on December 14, the men competed in the weight range of 57, 62, 68, 74, 81, 81+ and in the 52, 60, 65+ weight range of women.

Abdulaziz Egamkulov, 2nd year student of the School of Tourism and Hotel Management, said: “The contest is going competitive, with nearly 150 students competing on behalf of their own faculties. I would like to thank the organizers on behalf of the participants.

As a result of the roast competition, out of the 32 students, the winners of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places were determined. They were awarded with diplomas and medals. 

Note that, this contest is organized for the second time.
