On May 12 of this year Open Doors Day took place at our university. The event was attended by the University Rectorate, academic and administrative staff, and more than 500 prospective students.

At the event an introductory video of the university was shown, and the Manastyn Kyzdary dance group presented their artistry. The University Rector, Prof. Dr. Sebahattin Balci, provided detailed information about the university and noted that he would always support talented young students who seek knowledge. The Vice-Rector, Prof. Dr. Asylbek Kulmyrzayev, gave full information about the exchange programmes, examination procedures at the university, and wished all success to students in passing exams. At the end the Rector and the Vice-Rector answered questions of the prospective students.

After the formal part of the event under a campus tour the students made a trip to 9 faculties, 3 high schools, dormitory and libraries of the university.

We note that the event had been organized by a Students Affairs Office, and its Branch of Students and Graduates Affairs under the supervision of the University Promotion Commission.
